For development and analysis of a-Si TFTs, many research groups are trying to understand the physical mechanisms of a-Si TFTs. In particular, leakage current behavior is a major consideration for switching devices like a-Si TFTs. To analyze the leakage current mechanisms, calibration with numerical simulation is required.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #000000; font-size: medium; font-style: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-weight: 400; letter-spacing: normal; orphans: 2; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; text-decoration-style: initial; text-decoration-color: initial;\">In the next section, we describe a-Si TFT density of states (DOS) models and their implementation in ATLAS.
